Hello, my name is Jordan Weeks and I am a graphic designer with over four years of professional experience; however, I have been familiar with the Adobe Suite programs for over ten years.  

I was born in Denver Colorado yet spent much of my childhood moving around the south west and west coast.  I graduated from San Juan Community College in 2013 with my associate degree as well as a certificate in Digital Media Art and Design (DMAD).  I continued my education in Fine Arts, graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University in 2020. 

As I directed my focus on transferring from the food industry into my career field, I’ve implemented many of my graphic design skills to whatever job I had at the time.  Whether that be creating printable and/or digital content or assisting in the development of a company’s brand identity including, but not limited to, logos, typography, colors and packaging.  

I have a lot of experience in designing business cards, promotional flyers, brochures, letterheads, logos and website design.  I find enjoyment in creating visually aesthetic and pleasing graphics and other works of art.  I am a creative person with an open mind which allows for divergent thinking and the ability to generate new ideas for a task or problem.  My mind never slows down, and I am constantly looking at the world through an artistic lens, building from those inspirations.

On my down time I enjoy walking and playing fetch with my dog, reading, painting, listening/playing music and cooking.  If you’d like to know more about me, send me a message below.

LOGOS

A good logo is distinctive, appropriate, practical, graphic and simple in form, and it conveys the owner's intended message.  A concept or "meaning" is usually behind an effective logo, and it communicates the intended message.  A great logo essentially boils down to two things: great concept and great execution.

ARTWORK

Successful artwork boils down to two factors: a strong emotional impact on the viewer, and a long lasting, unforgettable impression.   These principles are conveyed by the artist's knowledge of the fundamental elements of fine art.  Composition, color, line work, form, perspective and so on.  They must not only master these techniques, but combine them in such a way that evokes an emotional response or interpretation from the viewer.
